The Springfield field trip took place on November 13, 2004. We went with Society of Architectural Historians to the Dana Thomas House, Maid Rite Restaurant, and the Old State Capitol. Afterward, we went over to a restoration site at the oldest house in Springfield and finally a tour of the Lincoln home. Accompaning us was preservation professor Mike Jackson who made the tour more interesting and educational.
