candidate of Building Tech PhD at MIT
MSME UIC 2001
BSAS UIUC 1998

"After graduating from UIUC in Architecture, I decided to pursue a degree in Mechanical Engineering, while working as a Research Architect/Engineer. My background in architecture led me to be a valuable member on a team of engineers, approaching issues from a different angle.

"In applying for the Building Technology program at M.I.T., my varied background led me not only to the program, but also assisted in my winning a presidential fellowship at M.I.T.

"I continue to work with many engineers, but with my combined experience and knowledge in architecture as well as engineering, I feel that I am able to help bridge the gap between the two fields."

Christine is currently the Senior Research Engineer at the Energy Resource Center at the Univ of Illinois at Chicago.
