Our research team works to develop new tools and ideas for improving the built environment, exploring new technologies and strategies for uniting design and construction. We advocate architecture not only as the design and construction of buildings, but as the total stewardship of the relationship between people and their environment. We develop new technologies and practices ranging from the use of wearable computers and global positioning to examining the social and personal implications of new technologies like nanotechnology. We team with innovative design and construction firms to learn and create new best practices for an increasingly dynamic world of practice.
