Course Requirements:

1. Three hourly exams, each covering 1/3 of the course. Each is worth 25% of the final grade. Exams will be a combination of identification, short answer, and essay. You are expected to remember dates to within 5 years on either side. Exam dates: I will notify you generally about two weeks in advance.

2. Two short paper assignments, to be handed out separately, each worth 12.5% of the final grade.

3. Good Attendance, and thorough note-taking are invaluable to doing well in this class.
