SSAE NAMES HONORARY MEMBER

The Student Society of Architectural Engineers honored AE Instructor, Abbas Aminmansour at the recent AE Senior Awards Banquet, by naming him the first Honorary Member of the SSAE.

SSAE President, Jonathan Dougherty stated that Aminmansour "has shown continued dedication to both SSAE and the Architectural Engineering Department," and "his work and cooperation are greatly appreciated by the AE students." He summarized criteria for choosing the honoree with a quotation from Flavia Weedn who wrote, "Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay awhile, leave footprints on our hearts, and we are never, ever the same."

Along with a plaque, the first honorary member is welcome to join SSAE meetings throughout the year for free pizza and soda! A plaque will also be placed in the AE Department to honor this year's recipient, as well as future recipients of the award.
